We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Driver/Hauler to join our team and play a crucial role in the safe and timely delivery of our products.

Job Description:

As a Driver/Hauler, you will be responsible for transporting fabricated wood and metal storage buildings to customers’ homes and businesses using a 36-foot trailer. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be an experienced driver with a clean driving record and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport fabricated wood and metal storage buildings to customer locations using a 36-foot trailer.
• Load and unload storage buildings, ensuring proper and secure placement on the trailer.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle and trailer, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate with customers to coordinate delivery times and address any questions or concerns.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery forms and vehicle inspection reports.
• Assist with assembly and installation of storage buildings at customer sites, as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL license preferred but not required/clean driving record required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving with a 46-foot trailer or similar equipment.
• Experience in hauling oversized loads and operating heavy machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road.
• Ability to lift, move, and assemble heavy objects, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
